The quality of the original recording will have an impact on the final result. If the tape has become stretched or damaged in some other way, the resulting playable file will probably have the same negative characteristics.

Copyright laws may apply to recorded material. Where material is under copyright, the purchaser may be permitted to make a copy for their own use. (see copyright page) Converting to digital format falls under this provision. Where copyright exists, you cannot broadcast or distribute copies of the material in any format.

LiVEWYRE Studio is able to produce a CD for playback in a conventional CD player, or MP3 for playback using a PC, certain types of mobile 'phone or digital players such as an Ipod or MP3 player.

Some mobile phones can use MP3 files as ringtones. A shortened version of your recording could be used specifically as a ringtone.

Recordings can be enhanced to your specifications. All recordings go through a 'cleaning' process where 'hiss' normally associated with cassette recordings is removed. Tracks can be faded in and out as required, and effects such as echo can be added if required.

We can provide a CD with your requested files, you can specify whether you require a CDROM with MP3 files or a CD with a WAV file which can be played in a conventional CD player. We can also provide files in WMA or OGG VORBIS format.
