| AKG C451B Microphone Focus : This microphone is a direct replacement for the all time classic multi-purpose condenser mic, the AKG C451 EB combined with the CK1 capsule. Originally launched in 1969, the 451 EB continued in production until 1994. The new 451 B is universally considered better than the original benefitting from new technology and improved build-quality. The old removeable modular capsule and screw-in pre-attenuation pads have been replaced by incorporating these features into the design. There are now switches for pre-attenuation at 0,-10 and -20dB and a bass roll-off switch at 75Hz and 150Hz. Type: Condenser Guide Price: £400 ($550) |
