General Terms

Whilst it is our aim to turn round recordings as quickly as possible, it may take up to 5 working days from receipt to make copies, and get them despatched. Where special custom treatment is required, additional time may be required. Please allow for postal times.

Please note, LiVEWYRE Studio may return your material uncopied if it is found to contain an offensive or obscene lyric. No charge will be made under these circumstances.

Client confidentiality is of prime importance, your files will never be made available to any third party and they will not be stored in a way that would allow any third party to have access to them. Your recordings are only on a PC whilst the recording process is ongoing. Once the transfer to CD is complete, the files are temporarily stored on a copy CD (in case your recording gets lost in the post) for short-term storage.

If you would like us to keep a copy of your files for longer-term archiving, this can be done for a small fee, contact us for more details.

How can I pay? currently we accept cheques and postal orders to be sent with your original material, or paypal via emailed invoice

What do I do now? Very simply submit your requirements and details including your address and requirements (wav/MP3) etc.. or email us for information or a quote.

In return, we will email you a printable label with a unique number, this is to be placed on the outside of the package in which you send your cassette and payment (unless paying by paypal). We recommend the use of a bubble lined envelope ('jiffy bag') of internal dimensions at least: 170mm x 245mm (for a single cassette). Send by first-class post (free insurance if you get a certificate of posting from your post-office). In some cases, this will be the same package sent back with your CD and original tape. The label with unique number is for once-only use and is issued for immediate use. This system allows us to control the flow of work coming into the studio. At busy periods, there may be a delay before we send your unique reference and posting details (the above estimated package sizes do not apply where more than one cassette is sent).

However, this can affect how you are able to interact with our site as well as other websites. It is our aim to keep all our customers very happy with the service received, however it is acknowledged that things don't always go according to our plans:

Whilst every endeavour is made to exceed expectations, where the sender is not happy with the result, a full refund will be offered. Please bear in mind that the quality of the original recording will inevitably have an effect on the resulting CD. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service requested.

Every effort is made to ensure that the original recording is kept in prime condition. Liability for damage to original material will be limited to the cost of replacement media. We cannot accept personal liability for material damaged or lost in transit, although we will insure packages for face value of the media.
